Mamadou Sow – CO-DIOP Senegal
I was born in 1983 in Keur Moussa, a town about fifty kilometres from Dakar, the capital of Senegal.
I grew up happily in a family of visual artists. Alongside my father and later my brother, I spent most of my time in their studio.
It was a real revelation and a wonderful opportunity to immerse myself in the practice of art crafts and to train myself to understand and reproduce the message transmitted by artists through their works. Thus, at a very young age, my future was mapped out.
After obtaining a baccalaureate LB and a licence 1 in letters and human sciences, I naturally turned to a training at the National School of Arts in Dakar, while at the same time
at the same time as training in office automation and computer graphics.
During the 10 years that followed and until today, I have worked as an administrative assistant to my father and my brother, also ensuring the marketing of their works.

I managed e-commerce websites, organised exhibitions, took inventory of works, handled logistics (sea and air freight), administered budgets, etc.
Having discovered the gallery and the Pachir’art project, it is with happiness that my father and my brother decided to join this beautiful adventure as exclusive artists.

As for me, I also decided to continue my career within this company, with which I signed a contract as CoDiOP (Pachir’art Operational Management Advisor) with the ambition of
– to make the world discover the quality of the African art scene
– to allow the African population to have access to the production of international
